How we got here
ALD Building Services was founded in 1989 and has been family-run ever since. That structure decides how the work runs: someone in the family answers the phone, visits the site and stays responsible for what happens there. When a facility manager raises an issue, it does not disappear into a call centre.
Over 35+ years, more of the work has shifted toward warehouses, plants and commercial buildings. Those buildings need something different: a scope that survives a change of staff, a schedule that fits shift patterns, and someone who understands that a blocked aisle or an unreleased zone changes the plan for the night.
Today, ALD Building Services focuses primarily on recurring cleaning programs and scheduled projects for commercial and industrial facilities across the GTHA, with residential house cleaning also available for homes and condominiums.

Since 1989, ALD has grown from a family cleaning operation into a trusted partner for warehouses, manufacturing plants, medical clinics, commercial properties and homes across the GTHA. The lessons learned over that time are built into every scope and schedule we write.

We provide commercial, industrial and residential cleaning. We are not a handyman, moving or trades business. If a job needs a licensed trade or a specialist remediation contractor, we will say so rather than take the work.
